In-Building Wireless Solutions

HALO’s In-Building wireless system provides the increased capacity needed at high-density venues and locations where consumers require improved wireless services for running high-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, location-based services, and business data applications. With today’s increasing mobile device usage and data consumption rate, our customers need best-in-class mobile networks accessible anywhere, anytime. HALO designs, builds, operates, and supports in-building DAS systems that enhance coverage and capacity, enabling superior wireless service in indoor and outdoor environments across all industries.

IN-BUILDING DEPLOYMENTS

A DAS, or Distributed Antenna System, is a network of spatially separated antenna nodes connected to a common source via a transport medium that provides wireless service within a geographic area or structure. DAS is used to enhance wireless signals in areas where they may be weak or obstructed, such as inside buildings, stadiums, or underground locations.

A Distributed Radio Access Network (DRAN) is a passive Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that serves as an effective alternative to traditional DAS solutions. It distributes wireless operators’ signals directly, eliminating the need for intermediary third-party DAS equipment.

A Private Network is a network that is restricted to a specific group of users and devices, providing a secure and controlled environment for communication and data exchange. Unlike public networks, which are open to anyone, private networks are designed to protect sensitive information and manage access permissions.

INDOOR WIRELESS SOLUTIONS

In today’s hyper-connected world, indoor wireless solutions have become essential for modern buildings, ensuring seamless communication and access to digitial services. These solutions not only enhance the functionality and safety of the infrastructure but also significantly impact the experience of its occupants and users.

Benefits of an In-Building DAS

      • Improved connection by overcoming signal obstructions.
      • Enables employees to efficiently use mobile communication and digital tools.
      • Ensure emergency responders can communicate effectively inside buildings.
      • Provide consistent coverage for the growing number of IoT devices.
      • Enhance the experience of visitors in commercial spaces by offering seamless wireless connection.

OUTDOOR WIRELESS SOLUTIONS

In the era of digital transformation, outdoor wireless solutions are essential for buildings, ensuring wireless connection extends beyond indoor spaces to outdoor areas. These solutions are crucial for maintaining seamless communication, enhancing security, and supporting a wide range of applications that rely on robust outdoor coverage.

Benefits of Wireless Networks for Outdoor Venues

      • Continuous and reliable coverage in areas such as parking lots, courtyards, and building perimeters.
      • Enhanced Security including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
      • Facilitate effective communication for emergency services, enabling prompt responses and coordination.
      • Ensure the operation of outdoor IoT devices like smart lighting, environmental sensors, and weather stations.
      • Improves the user experience, allowing occupants and visitors to stay connected in outdoor spaces.

SMALL CELL

Small cells are a vital component of modern wireless networks, especially in urban areas where coverage and capacity challenges are common. These low-powered cellular radio access nodes extend and enhance the capabilities of traditional macro cell towers, providing several key benefits to network performance and user experience.

Benefits of Small Cell Coverage

      • Small cells fill coverage gaps and improve signal strength in areas where macro cells struggle to reach.
      • By offloading traffic from the macro network, small cells help manage high data demands in crowded locations.
      • Enable Flexible Deployment by installing on existing structures like light poles and buildings
      • Essential for 5G deployment, supporting the higher frequencies and greater bandwidths required for next generation technology
